The prevention of cruelty to animals is achieved by pro active work among all communities. Education and upliftment of the community is a vital part of the work we undertake. It is a fact that where there are people there are animals and the sectrum we cover includes dogs, cats, livestock, donkeys, equine and wild animals, all of which is an integral part of our community.

We are an educational office and teach learners different aspects of animal behaviour. We also collect and care for stray animals that are found on the streets. We provide treatment for sick and injured animals for the underprivileged.

The Bloemfontein SPCA rescue animals, treat and heal them and rehome healthy happy animals to new homes.
